Veterinary Assistants


Cherish Kaylor-Veterinary Assistant

Cherish is originally from Hickory, North Carolina, where her father is a veterinarian and sparked her love for the veterinary field five years ago.  She is currently enrolled in a veterinary technology program to receive her technician license.

She has a Chihuahua named Parker and 3 cats, Kitty Kitty, Sammie and Mia.  Cherish also a new mother to an adorable baby boy named Brooks.  In her spare time she likes to shop, go dancing, and enjoys reading James Patterson books.

 

Megan Dabney-Veterinary Assistant

Megan has been with the AVHCC team since June 2007.  She is currently enrolled in a program to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant, and has plans to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the future.

Megan is the owner of a geriatric doberman mix named Chrissy and a rabbit named Thumper.  In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with friends and family outdoors, camping and swimming.

 

 

  

Kathy Blue-Veterinary Assistant

Kathy is originally from Lynchburg, Virginia and has lived in Charlottesville for the past 5 years.  She earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Virginia.  She is currently enrolled in a program to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant, and plans to apply to veterinary school in the future.

In her spare time, Kathy is an avid runner and swimmer.  She is also a singer and dancer and occassionally performs in community theater.  She has two cats named Penny and Polly.
